This is my creation of me in the form of an alien. I realize it does not look anything like me, but I guess that's a good thing because I don't think I would be too happy if I actually looked like this in real life! I cropped out the part of my photograph that I wanted to use in the creation, and colored it in with the light purple color. Then I distorted my eyes and got rid of my nose. Also, I duplicated one of my eyes and put it on my forehead to make it seem like I have three eyes instead of two. Finally, I got an alligator skin image and lowered the opacity and put it on top of my photograph to make it seem like I had actual alligator scales as my skin.

I based my altered fairytale off of the original fairytale of Cinderella. Cinderella is about a girl named Cinderella who lives with her two evil stepsisters and evil stepmother. Cinderella goes to the ball and meets Prince Charming, and then the two of them then fall in love. In my altered tale, I changed the plot line and gave it a twist. Instead of Prince Charming falling in love with Cinderella, he falls in love with one of the evil stepsisters. In my creation, I made sure to create shadows at the appropriate exposure and blur to make them appear life-like. The most difficult part of my creation was finding the appropriate pictures to include in the overall project. Nevertheless, I am happy and pleased with how my altered fairytale came out as a finished product.

My hybrid animal is a combination of a full-grown male lion and a golden retriever puppy. I chose these two animals because of how they both represent me. The lion represents me because i can be really aggressive and angry sometimes, and with my very curly hair, it reminds me of a lion mane. The golden retriever represents me because even though I am a teenager, I act like a little kid most of the time, much like a little puppy who has loads and loads of energy all of the time. I created space in my creation by making sure to choose a background that represented the hybrid animal's environment, and making sure it had animals and scenery that would be taken place in its real habitat. I like how I blended the puppy's head and the lion's body together, but I feel like i could have done a better job with the background scenery.

In my Alternate World creation, I just tried to make it as random and weird as my imagination would let me. I made sure that the pictures I added had no connection to each other whatsoever. Overall, I am happy with my Alternate World creation and I am glad the finishing product came out the way I wanted it too.

Symmetry is the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis. I made sure to include symmetry and also balance in my kaleidoscopes by duplicating my layers and making sure each side of the painting was balanced. At the end of completing my three different kaleidoscope creations, I made sure that everything was taken into account and arranged in fairly good proportions.
